What A Playground!

I was driving along in the High Park neighbourhood and just caught sight of this playground at St Cecilia school and immediately turned around. The playground was built 20 years ago with donations and labour from the surrounding community. If I was a kid I would love to play in the castles - even now I'd like to poke around in there!

Oh yes lots of fun could be had here.. do you get many spiders over there Pat, it wouldn't be long before a family of red back spiders moved in here unfortunately!

I'd say go ahead and start poking around. But you'd probably get arrested and that wouldn't be good. Looks like a great place for the kiddos.

Oh yes, this looks so charming. It's like something out of a storybook.

My kids would love a run around there! Nice that the community helped build it!

Quite a playground! I am reminded of the fact that after I'd left my primary school, they rebuilt the playground with a big upgrade.

This is one of my favorite styled playgrounds!

Looks like the wood had held up well. I had to replace my deck sooner than 20 years because the wood rotted.

It looks very well taken care of!

This one is terrific, RedPat. In the USA, we are becoming so crazy that this playground would probably not be permitted. Wood like that can produce splinters. These days all playgrounds seem to be garish concoctions made from plastic.
