I seem to have developed a thing about gorgeous porches and couldn't resist this beauty found in the Lawrence Park neighbourhood. The house itself is beautiful and it is the porch that makes it special don't you think?
This is a stately, older home with great style. I also like large porches, especially those facing the sidewalk allowing for interaction with neighbors.
Oh God, Pat, you've got to stop this. When I see such a house my little heart gets a jump start and I'm ready to pack up and move. Then comes the downer when I realize I can't move and couldn't afford such a place even if I could move. So, I'll just look at your photo and enjoy the beauty of the place and keep on keeping on! :)

Hello, I love the porches too. This home is lovely. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!
Absolutely Pat, growing up in Africa where porches are almost necessary to keep the house cool, I have a thing about porches too ☺
Very pretty!
I like to see porches on houses, too.
...what a beauty, my grandmother's house was just like this one, but on a smaller scale.

Oh yes, I agree. What a beautiful house. It reminds me of my childhood for some reason.
Wonderful place!
It is beautiful and I love those columns!
Well, you might as well because they are fast disappearing.
500% better than the house I posted today. :)
It's a beauty Pat. Love the porch and the little window at the top, it would be my room.
I really like porches too, especially big ones like that, and it does make it a lovely house, but also the greenery!
That is a HOME!
