When you reach the top of yesterday's stairs and turn around this is your view looking down along Spadina through the lovely trees of the annex neighbourhood and through downtown until you hit Lake Ontario. Most of the tourists going to Casa Loma come up this way and then turn around to take this shot with the CN Tower in a starring role.

I am admiring the view but I can't remember if we were in Spadina.

I think we are looking from the shoreline of glacial lake Iroquois ... if I am remembering correctly, and I probably am not.
I remember seeing that spectacular view years ago when I visited. It's a great view!
P.S. that snake was a king snake. They are pretty harmless. Nevertheless, we were glad he decided to exit the same way he entered.
