It is funny how all the trees can still be green except for a couple that show bits of what is to come. This shot looks like I was in deep forest but I was actually not far from a busy road and a parking lot right in the city.
It's interesting how some trees are just ahead of the curve. There are a few webcam sites that I check in on from time to time and the one in Santa Fe NM is one of them. The webcam faces the park in the center of town. I checked it yesterday and all the trees are still green except for one which is showing a lot of color right now. It stands out from all the rest.
It’s amazing how nature can create such serene, secluded pockets even in the middle of the city! Those early hints of fall among the green trees are like nature's little secrets, reminding us of the changes ahead. What a great capture!
