Preparing For Winter

It is a busy time of year for squirrels as they hunt around for bits of food to hide away until needed during the winter to come. I'm not sure if this one was burying or harvesting but it was very determined.

Taking part in Saturday's Critters. Click HERE to see more creatures from around the world.

We do not see the black squirrels here, they are hunting for this winter food supply. Thank you for linking up and sharing your critter post. Take care, have a great weekend.

He is a busy little guy. Growing up in Illinois, we always put food out for the squirrels in the winter.

I have always enjoyed seeing your photos of black squirrels as they do not exist around here. I have a family of red squirrels in my yard who are busy doing the same thing.
