When I was in the stables at Casa Loma there was a room with automotive memorabilia but no explanation as to why they were there. This wonderful old gas pump was found there - not sure how old it is but it belonged to Imperial Oil and distributed their Premier Gasoline. I bet it is from the 20's.

Fun!
I love seeing these old gas pumps. They certainly bring back some childhood memories back when gas was only 17 cents a gallon.
Oh my how things have changed..I like these better :)
A real classic shot!
I bet those Canadian Pickers guys could tell us the backstory.
blast from the past.
a classic! although i haven't seen a gas pump like this before.:p
They were better looking back then -- and you got better service (well, not that I remember the 20s (quite) but it was true 20 years later.
I don't think I've ever seen one like that.
Wonderful old gas pump!!!
Cool find RedPat, and the logo is red! ;-)
This gas pump is older than me... and I'm really old.
Wonder if the stables were used as a garage for the house at one time? Great looking pump.
It is great to see these old gas pumps. Good find.
I think you're right about this being from the 20s or maybe 30s. I don't remember such a pump or the Premier name (the latter is probably Canadian). I bought my first car in 1955 (a '37 Chevy) and gas hovered around the 25 cents a gallon mark.
I was not around when this was in use. Honestly!
Why doesn't it surprise me that Pellatt would have his own gas pump?!
Great looking antique.
A good-looking classic!

Extraordinary looking pump! Interesting shape and colour scheme! It reminds me of a missile shape!
