Mermaid
When I was in Yorkville and wandering about after viewing the ice sculptures, I spotted yet another mermaid although not an ice one but rather one made from recycled materials. She is the work of Patrick Amiot who sculpts the pieces and Brigitte Laurent who paints them. Originally from Montreal, the couple is now based in California where they produce their "junk-art" sculptures. I quite like her!

She's a doll. :0
I like her too! ;-)
She must be cold!
how CUTE! but she made me think of that lady on downton abbey (and i don't even watch the program).
That is really cute. I like her too!
You've captured her quite nicely.
Now that is entirely different! It's cute!
That's hilarious. I always said if you fool around long enough with junk materials you'll come up with a mermaid...sort of. Well, I didn't always say that, it just came to mind now, but still...
This mermaid wouldn't make it at Weeki Watchee Springs.
I absolutely love her Pat, she can hang out beside my pool anytime she likes :)
p.s. like your spring, our autumn is showing no signs of appearing any time soon.
Oh, nice find. A great piece.
Quirky and fun!
She is great, love her hair!
Red hair, RedPat! You need to get her, though you might need to put a shirt on her to avoid all of those tasteless (but very funny!) comments from your visitors!
adorable
Hmm. Arresting?
She looks a fun character! Wouldn't mind having her spruce up the nearby pond:)
She's pretty cute.
