As part of a program to beautify dreary underpasses, the city commissioned artists ShalakAttack, BrunoSmoky & FiyaBruxa to paint murals on 4 supports along King St East. The whole art work is titled Frozen Memories and was just completed this autumn. I will show you the other side of this one tomorrow and the other 3 supports as part of Monday Murals over the next 3 weeks. And thanks to Andy from Eye Candy for tipping me off about this installation.

That really is gorgeous. I can't believe what a difference it makes. So colorful and bright.
I like the colours and it's an interesting way to use the space.
That woman has a very serious look about her! But the colors are so rich. I think such art is a great idea - underpasses are always dreary!
so the city looks beter and nicer
The colours are bright and vibrant!

Great photo!
I was hoping to get to see these before we left, but ran out of time.
A fine image of this vivid underpass mural. The workmanship is exceptionally good.
What a great treatment for those ugly bridge supports. We have a boatload of them around here. Tom The Backroads Traveller
