I like the use of bricks to create an accent in the facade. Very simple building but nice.
The local catholic church to me is a 1940's conversion, only the front is original and dates back to the 1700's
It is a lovely church Pat, I came across a really pretty one today also. The wires look very familiar :)
i like it! simple, but uniquely designed.
I do love the simplicity of its design.
It is quite attractive this style of architecture. I do like the art above the door and the mosaic arrangement of the window squares.
'Tis a beautiful building and so typical of many churches of that era - of various demoninations ... especially those central steps to the entry.
I'm very surprised that I actually like something built during that decade!

It does have a 1950's look to it! I didn't even notice the wires until you said something. I guess I'm so used to seeing them.
I really like this church tank you for the little history.
I think that sometimes wires in the photos make beaty like this.
