I showed you a building that had been a Ford factory and is now owned by Faema the espresso people (HERE) and thought I would show you the original Faema building that is not very far away. I've always been intrigued by the quirky building that looks like it could have been a gas station at some time in the past. Faema continues to operate out of this space as well as the newer location I showed you.

Faema is a name with which I'm not familiar...is it kind of like Starbucks. I think you are right about the gas station. I remember a lot of those corner curved stations from my youth. "Quirky" is a good work for it.
I like quirky.
That is an interesting building. It does look like an old garage or gas station. I'm glad it has a new life.
Faema is a well known name here...
Definitely an old gas station, I worked in one just like it while going to high school, week-ends and summers, 50 years ago.
Nice older building! I agree too that it resembles an old gas station building.
It does seem to have once been a gas station.
Hello, I like quirky too. It does look like one of the old gas stations. Enjoy your day and the week ahead!

I take it that red and white are Fame's signature colours? Very nice curved front to the building!
My first thought was: that's an old gas station. So glad they kept the original building.
it is eye catching, P
It's a nice building.
The building looks to be Art-Deco style. Don't know the name.
I like unusual building shapes.
Oh yeah. Can hear the ding, ding of the bell as the car pulled up to the pump.
Sure. Coffee is fuel.
I was thinking gas station also. It has that 50's look to it.
I like this rounded building! Makes the corner look more interesting.
The building does have an interesting shape!
Yep...It is a bit quirky, but I really like the curved entrance. And to think they built Fords here. That in itself is amazing. genie
A bit dated, don't you think?
Reminds me of some old auto dealerships I've seen. I like it.
I do like those curves!
Greetings from Ireland!
That building sure is quirky :-)
I remember curved service stations too ... In the days when they really were service stations. But if they make good lattes, I would be happy with the modern incarnation !
