This has to be one of the largest grey squirrels I have ever seen and I think it is mostly a thick fur coat that is making it look that way. I'm hoping that doesn't mean we are in for a long cold season ahead!

Torrential rains here today in the San Francisco Bay area! A Pineapple express of rain from Hawaii. . .
Still a lovely view to see people caring for the little ones in winter.
Oh my gosh Pat, it looks like it's wearing a big (squirrel) fur coat, its little face peeking out of the collar 😊😊
Funny thing is it sure feels like that right now. So many cold days here. I'm thinking of warmer places!
A very well fed squirrel with a lustrous fur coat - great photo!
Congrats on 2,500 posts! What dedication!
great squirel
Cute photo, Pat! That little guy looks like he's made the rounds of the neighbourhood feeders (note how I spell "neighbourhood." Just like it's supposed to be spelled, right?" :))

What a cutie!
I haven't seen one of these Northern Squirrels in a while.
Lovely shot.
Have a Happy Weekend and Stay Warm, Pat :)
Peace :)
Oh yes, he is a little on the rotund side. I think he's been well fed.
And that's a BIRD feeder, is it not?
This one does look big!
Hello, it is a chubby thing. I think winter fur coats always make you look fatter, lol. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
Dang! I'll say. :-)
Looks like he put on a few pounds!
Wow, that is a big one! Beautiful fur.
He is a big guy, Squirrels & bird feeders seem to go hand in hand
He or she went to the furrier and spent a lot of money.
Now that's a great photo!
That big guy could probably eat the whole feederful in one sitting.
We don't have any gray squirrels around here, so I am glad to see this one who looks healthy and warm in the thick fur coat.
Here he has food for the whole winter !
Cute.
He is massive! So much bigger than the little Florida squirrels I showed on my blog recently.
And, congratulations on your 2500th post. I had to go back to check my own. I am 113 posts behind you.
