This has to be the quintessential pose of a squirrel. They look so sweet and harmless when in this position that you wouldn't think that they could vandalize your garden and birdfeeders. It's good they are so cute!

You summed that up perfectly!
Cute indeed. Didn't know they are also black.
That black squirrel is very black! So different from our squirrelly little rascals!
Very true! I've seen that pose quite often. What cutie in this shot.
No mistaking this critter's identity - cute as can be!
He/she/it is a beauty!
Surely, that little guy/gal can do no harm to a garden. Warm greetings!
I do enjoy seeing them, as mischievous as they can be!
He looks adorable, a black beauty. Only seen a black squirrel once in a park in NY. Thanks for showing him/her.
Hello, I think I have seen a black squirrel once. It was too quick for a photo. Cute shot of your squirrel. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy day and weekend ahead.
Always good to see a black squirrel. They just don't exist in the upper Midwest.
We love squirrels, especially these Black ones :)
