I'm having some fun this week for Saturday Critters. I was walking through the U of Toronto campus along Harbord St on a Sunday morning when I saw a giant duck approaching me on the other side of the street. I couldn't believe my eyes and quickly managed to get my camera out of my bag and shot a pic before the creature flew away. I have no idea where it was heading but it was really on a mission.

This is truly a great find!
Fun!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Thanks for the laugh. Your duck photo has a great background with that sign.
Peculiar!
Cute duck, he/she does look to be on a mission.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
Nice bit of bird spotting.
I wasn't at all surprised to read that you were in the University area. A lifetime of living near Cambridge University has prepared me for anything!
What an excellent bit of bird watching you did. I really do wonder where the creature was heading.
Well...that's something you don't see every day! hahahaha! So glad you got a photo. If you started to tell that story without one....lol!
Well, you didn't miss this bird. Excellent!
You got lucky with the ducky.
I love it! I’m glad you got a picture.
Wow thats a really lovely bird.
Did you speak with him/her? I can't tell whether it's a male or a female duck.
Funny and cute. Great colour choice.
A bird on a mission? It must be about food or sex although the latter may be rather awkward.
What a fabulous capture! Congratulations on getting the shot, Pat!
Sin esperarlo, ha salido a tu encuentro. Menos mal, que siempre se lleva el móvil encima y has podido hacer la foto.
Feliz domingo
