Homes On The Old Airfield

I thought I would show you a few of the homes that were built for WWll veterans in the 1940s on the old airfield that was the subject of yesterday's sign. They built a nice development with parks and playgrounds for the kids. There are several pockets of homes like these around the city. As you can see, they are well maintained and were built to last.

...these remind me of my aunt and uncle's home in Toronto.

Those are fine looking small houses. We are once again in need of small, affordable houses. We can learn from these past housing projects.

The world could use a lot more houses like these. They would help to solve the housing crisis around the world.

Very nice houses, not too big but maybe made for people just starting a family.

They look nice, and are well maintained. Although similar, they all look a bit different.

Nice little houses - or "bungalows" as we'd call them in England.

There's a neighborhood here from that Era with very similar homes.
