Dirty Nose

This female Mallard had just come out from rummaging around in the bottom of a muddy pond and it looks as if she needs to do a little grooming!

I dunno...I've heard from reliable sources that a little mud on the beak really turns on male mallards! Cute pic!

We have several kinds of ducks around the cabin. We also have red-throated loons. They are my favourite. - margy
