I showed you a pic of this clock tower back in the winter (HERE) and finally stopped one day when heading north on Avenue Road to get this shot of the view while driving. The school has been here a long time and so the very busy road actually takes a big swing around the school property before continuing on its route! This is Upper Canada College, probably the most exclusive private school for boys in the country. The fence on the right protects the tennis courts.

Gorgeous old building and clocktower! It has a very prestigious air about it!
It's not only a great designed building it's a lovely view surrounding it too!
such a stately building
Beautiful!
Beautiful building and good to know new info. I would love to visit.
That is a very impressive looking building.
Tiene que ser muy bueno y también caro Pat ;)
Impressive building.
It is indeed a superb architectural masterpiece. But, for some reason, I smell money. Lots and lots of money! :)
It is beautiful. Won't take long for the trees to leaf out and start obscuring some of that.
With that tower and building, it looks like a most serious school. Hope the students get the best education.
Hello, I like the clock tower. It is a beautiful building. Great fence find. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day and weekend!
We do not have schools that look like this in Texas. If we do, I have not seen them.
quite impressive!
And there sure is a LOT of maintenance required on these old buildings to keep them standing.
Quite a stately building!
Tres Exclusive! And such a good shot of the place, Pat
Oh wow! That is such a beautiful building.
A very traditional looking school. And probably in the teaching too.
Wonderful looking place, framed by a perfect blue sky!
Yes it definitely has that air of exclusivity about it Pat. Very handsome building.

Beautiful find and share, Pat.
Have a Happy Weekend.
Peace :)
Nice looking building and clock tower.
Sometimes I am struck by the similarity of the architecture in Toronto and Connecticut. This would fit in very nicely in New England.
A beautiful and impressive looking building !
