Stairs

I took this pic at the end of what had been a warm November for us and you can see that there were still some flowers hanging around. These stairs lead up to one of the porches at Spadina House and I have seen them used as a stage for many wedding pics during the summer months.

Those stairs have all kinds of possibilities for posing people for photos.

That would be ideal for such purposes.

A very well appointed set of steps & makes for a very good stage too!

Kind of like a short Mayan temple. :-)

Nice perspective on the stairs. I can see the attractiveness of having a wedding photos taken there.

Where's the handrail?

Very cool, and Catalyst hit upon what I was thinking. You probably couldn't build something like that today with handrails. Most cities would have codes forbidding such an installation. Which is too bad. I mean, really, if people want to fall down steps, let them do it! :)

I thought that must be Sparina House.

They are lovely. Down here they would no doubt run afoul of some building codes because of the lack of railings and handicapped accessibility.

That is a place I would have added to "LOCATION - LOCATION."
I can imagen weddings would have been number one.
