This is just a small section of a mural that I found in a laneway off Dundas St in Chinatown. The mural stretches for over 140 ft along the building and is 12 ft tall, showing a wonderful artist's rendering of China's Great Wall. The piece was sponsored by the city and the local business association but I couldn't find an artist signature although I think it was done by Allan Bender who is known for his great murals. This one is a marvel!

I love the details in this one, RedPat!
Goodness that is a long mural Pat.. In a way it almost authenticates the subject matter , wonderful achievement by the artist.
If it is 140 foot long it's more than a marvel it's a masterpiece
what an undertaking! very neat!
WOW I will have to seek this one out, thanks Pat!!
Unusual, but amazing!

Fine looking mural. Are you going to show more of it later?
Nicely done and about as close as I will ever get to the Great Wall myself.
Very fitting for Chinatown!
The Great Wall on a wall, fab!
That's an incredible mural!
It is beautiful. The Chinese people in the neighborhood must love it.
Sittin' on the dock of the bay, wasting' time . . .
BTW, manatees are slow-moving, peaceful animals. Humans are much more danger to manatees than manatees are to humans.
Oh what a great mural!
It is beautiful, and wonderful—we have seen the Great Wall. My husband walked (climbed) part of it, and took photos. This mural is a gorgeous rendering of an amazing sight. You're right, it's a marvel.

I like to see the murals you share, here there is little.
A marvel indeed, it's almost as long as the Great Wall itself ;-)
Oooo, so cool. This mural really plays with one's fantasies of the exotic East. Only this Great Wall shows better air quality than you're likely to find at the real Great Wall. A wonderful evocative rendering. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
