Visiting With Friends

 

The Christmas chicken had a visit with my Swedish Julbocken and they all got along fine. I carried the two larger ones home from Sweden many years ago and they have thrived here in Canada.

This is my small Christmas tree loaded with lots of decorations. At the bottom you can see that the Christmas chicken has arrived to wish everyone good tidings.

Merry Christmas To All

 The big day has finally come and I hope Santa visited at least some of you. He just does a minor touch down here during his stops at all the kiddies' places. Have a wonderful day.

New Wheels

 

This Santa on a motorcycle was a new one for me so I had to stop and get a pic of it. There seem to be so many inflatables around this year. He is getting ready for his big night ahead.

Christmas At The Casa

I finally got by Casa Loma last week to see the decorations they put out for Christmas. This is the front entrance on what was a cold windy day as you can tell from the flag. They have a special display & event inside the Casa but I had no time for that this year.

Merry Christmas

Santa has arrived and has gone on his merry way back to the North Pole. This nice Santa was spotted on the roof of a porch on one of the big homes in the Annex neighbourhood. He reminds me of the Santa Claus who would appear in the Coke ads in the 50s.

There don't seem to be as many inflateable decorations around this year. I like this one of the polar bear giving some friends a lift.

This is the tree at Casa Loma which I showed several days ago as it was being decorated. I hope all those who celebrate Christmas have a good one! Merry Christmas!

From Christmas Past

This is from my archives of Christmas at Casa Loma a few years ago. I loved this tree that they had then and have noticed that they now install it out on the grounds of the Casa rather than this spot out front. I'll show you this year's tree tomorrow.

Help With The Tree

What a great machine to have nearby when you are decorating a tall tree. This fellow was working on the large tree in front of Casa Loma as I passed by. He was just getting ready to put a few more baubles up around the very top section.

Merry Christmas

This pic was taken last year when we were still allowed to go into a church! Have a Merry Christmas and let's all hope for 'normal' sometime in the New Year.

This Frosty the Snowman looks very happy to wish everyone a  great Christmas eve. It will be a strange Christmas for us all.

A Christmas Moose

 I spotted this moose in its Christmas sweater in a front garden which even has a swing for the kids. The moose's arms move in and out for a hug! He looks so friendly.

Welcome

This is a nice group of creatures to welcome you for a visit if we were allowed to visit people. It is still nice to see them though!

Unwrapped

My favourite - so even with the wrapping I knew what was in the package! How many guessed correctly?

Disguised?

A last blast from this past Christmas is this present wrapped to hide its contents. But does it? I'll show what was inside tomorrow.

At Last

I have gone by this blow-up of Kevin the Minion several times and the conditions or Kevin himself were not right for a pic until I finally caught him on a sunny day with no wind blowing him around. I couldn't let the season go by without having him appear!

The snow in this pic was from a week ago but it makes for a nice Christmas pic. The tree is out front of Casa Loma. I wish all who celebrate it a Merry Christmas!

Christmas Star

The entrance to Casa Loma provides us with a nice scene for Christmas Eve. I imagine these are all lit up at night but I haven't been by after dark.
