Some people are putting up their Christmas decorations while there are a still a few with Halloween decor on display. I spotted this Lovbot with its devil costume on as I wandered around this week. I haven't spotted any new Lovbots lately but you can see more of them if you click on the label below.
I was out walking in the warm weather that we have been having when I spotted this Lovbot in the front garden of a house. I hadn't seen one for a while so it was a real treat. You can click the label below to see more of them that I have discovered through the years.
I was out for a wander in Little Italy and spotted this Lovebot in a store window. I haven't been out and about as much as normal so hadn't seen one of them for a while. We could all use a bit of love these days!
I was walking along a quiet street keeping to myself when I happened upon this Lovebot sitting in the front garden of a house. He looks like he will soon be surrounded by flowers which are just starting to peek out of the ground. I first showed one of these cute concrete creatures by Matthew Del Degan back in 2013. You can see more of them by clicking the label below. I've always thought they were spelled Lovbot rather than Lovebot but now I am not sure.
Mabel's Fables is a wonderful children's bookstore that has been on Mount Pleasant Ave for many years. Mabel is the resident cat and I think they are now on Mabel ll. It is one of those places where you could wander and browse for hours. I was thrilled to see the Lovbot standing out front to greet eveyone!

I spotted this mural high up on a building on College St. Here we have one of the Lovbots along with one of the bunnies done by the artist Poser. It looks like they are using a spray can to propel themselves through the air.

I was wandering along Ossington Ave near Queen St W looking for murals and spotted this Lovbot siting up in the corner of a porch. Someone has removed one of its arms but it still was a cheerful sight. You can click on my Lovbot label below for more info on them.
I haven't shown you a Lovbot for quite awhile even though they pop up all over the city. This big one was found beside the building from yesterday's post and is one of the largest ones I've seen. To find out more about the Lovbots click on my label below.
I have shown you some of these fun LovBots before (click the Lovbot label below) and I recently spotted this one on a site that I think is to become another condo. I had to fit my lens through a chain-link fence to get the shot. This looks like a very happy LovBot don't you think?

I seem to keep running into versions of the Lovbots around town since first seeing one of the original concrete ones back in 2013. This paste-up one was spotted on a wall in the Annex a while ago but somehow I forgot to post him! To see other Lovbots click on the label below.
A few days after I saw last week's Lovebot, I happened upon these 2 wheatpaste versions as I headed out to do some errands. Cute aren't they?

I spotted this Lovebot on the fence around the tennis courts in Trinity Bellwoods Park which I had shown yesterday. I had posted one of the original concrete Lovebots by artist Mathew Del Degan (click here) last year and they continue to show up around the city. This one is made with duct tape as are its accompanying words which are "Smile, you are not a robot".

This little concrete robot is called a "Lovbot" and he is #77 of 100 that were created by artist Mathew Del Degan and some friends and helpers. Each of the 250 lb lovbots is to be placed in a different location around Toronto where an act of kindness has occurred and they hope to have a map on-line showing each location and the background story. I came across this wee guy at the Wychwood Barns but no story has been posted for it yet.
