I've driven by this installation many times and could never figure it out. I actually thought that it must be a fountain of some sort but that it wasn't working. So I finally stopped to check it out and it definitely isn't a fountain and I'm thinking that these are three identical benches since there is a flat area perfect for sitting on one side of each one. Strange! I could find no info about this at all.
More bike rings and since the shot was taken on an early Sunday morning none are being used. I like how they line up.
I thought the mural on this garage was quite nice in its simplicity and it is perfect for this time of year!

So many of the homes in the Annex neighbourhood have these wonderful turrets. Can you imagine how magical it must be in those rooms with the little round corner?
The Cardinal had joined the House Finch couple for a meal when I spotted them on this feeder a while ago. Good looking group!

This pic was taken from the 12th floor of a building in the northern part of the city probably about 10 miles from the CN Tower which you can see in the distance where it sits by Lake Ontario. It was a clear day so you can actually see a bit of the lake peeking out.
The June theme for the City Daily Photo Blog community is Nature. This view taken in James Gardens is manipulated by humans but it is nature that makes it so beautiful to see. Such a scene really lifts the spirits!
