Garden Fireworks

One of my favourite times in the spring garden is when the Alium finally pop open like little fireworks going off. I caught these ones this morning in my mother's garden. Priceless!

She has a lot of them in her garden. Around here, I see them in small clumps, not in mass plantings.

Garden fireworks.. yes that fits! Sorry I been so quiet these last couple weeks, I’ve been really ill (now finally diagnosed with Whooping Cough even though I was immunized) and have had another very rough week.

I've been photographing these all over the place. Finally I know what they are. :-)

Love these plants. I planted some in my garden and they did great the first year and never came back this year.

Guess I will have to try again.
