"Rising" Bird

As you can see the stainless steel birds on yesterday's sculpture, "Rising", are very stylized and modern but they have all captured the essence of birds quite well. There are hundreds of them on the piece in all manner of poses and position. I really like the idea of some of them appearing scattered about the upper levels of the building's facade. I haven't seen the piece in sunlight but it must sparkle and glow!

for some reason they remind me of humming birds. I bet the lights is awesome when it bounces off of them.

Incredible. I didn't realize how big it is until just now. I'll bet one could look at this for a long time and not see all it has to offer!

Would love to see this one for real, but your pics are the next best thing RedPat.

Hi Pat! Sorry about the Wichita Lineman song. But I was singing it on the golf course this morning!

I am going to have to stop one of these days. I love your close up of the bird. It looks much different than when you just see it from a distance.
