Shadows

This tiny parkette in mid-town just below Casa Loma looked lovely after one of our recent snowfalls - it is always nice to get out before the snow gets too disturbed by people. I loved the shadows from the trees and also this gives you a view if what a typical downtown neighbourhood looks like.

Shadows are almost art like on fresh snow.

Lovely, I hope you trampled through all that fresh snow after you took the picture!

Serene and unblemished. I'd guess the homes in that area would be very expensive. We watch HGTV and cannot believe the prices of houses near downtown.

I also like it when you catch a scene with perfect, undisturbed snow like this. Unfortunately, I don't think it looks the same today. Now it's turning into that black, slushy junk. :S

I'd love to walk around this neighbourhood!
I like the previous shots too, for me it's always so cool to see the hite carpet and everything covered in snow. ;-)

The ground looks beautiful and I'm amazed at the amount of snow on the trash bins!

Love the shadows too. Just makes you want to make snow angels.

Long shadows, nice Pat. That snow looks so good to me here in Perth.

The shadows on new snow are always a treat to photograph.

It is a rare opportunity to be the first person in a park after a snow storm.
