Rosemary

I brought my Rosemary plant in from my rooftop garden in the fall and it has surprised me by deciding to flower which is a first for me. It was a nice surprise to see during this cold weather we have had!

I'm jealous! I have killed at least two rosemary plants over the years, one by over-watering and the other by unde-watering. You must have a green thumb. ;)

I love fresh rosemary. I'm so glad your plant was spare the arctic blast. It must be happy so it's blooming for you.

I grow that but never had any flowers yet

It's enjoying the warmth inside! No flowers on mine, but then it's out on the windowsill!

In a temperate climate like ours it grows like a weed. The bees love the purple flowers. Yes, we are spoiled here.

Unusual timing!

I can't recall a plant like that ever being in the house growing up.

It is rewarding you for the loving care!

OK, I'm an idiot. I didn't even know that rosemary had flowers.

That thing was all lit up. You would have needed sunglasses.

And the aroma is heavenly.

I have a rather large on in my kitchen but I think I keep pruning it too much for it to flower. Love rosemary potatoes!

I always think about this song when I read Rosemary.

I'm not familiar with this plant but it's very beautiful.

Re your comment: It's the good-looking jackasses you've really got to watch! :))

Beautiful flower. I am embarrassed to say that despite my name (Rosemary) I have never looked at the flower up close.
