Dome Reflection

This is the entrance to the Manufacturers Life Insurance Company head office on Bloor St E, showing the domed pavilion which joins the original 1926 south building to the 1983 north building with the gold-coloured windows which you see here. It is one of the largest insurance companies in the world and these buildings sit in a large park-like setting with probably the best lawns in the city. I'll show you some more of it over the next few days.

Sometimes we miss pieces of life. Glad you pointed out the dome.

It's a very neat and tidy looking building too!

What a strange contrast between this dome and the moderne architecture surrounding it... Perfect choice for the week !

I like the domes more than glass and steel buildings

We have some nice insurance companies down here, but I often struggle to take photos that help them to look good.

It feels familiar. I'm sure I've passed by this place before.
