Theme Day - Rust & Ruins

The September theme for the City Daily Photo community is "Rust & Ruins" These wee birds have rusted into place on this little dish found on a very hot roof deck. They are bit like the Tin Man in the Wizard of Oz and could use a drop of oil to get them moving again!

I think it's quite attractive the way it is.

Well your rust is very pretty and poetic!

Nice find for Theme Day. The rusty birds may need a drop of oil, but I think the real birds might appreciate having it filled up with some nice cool water!

What a sweet late Summer still life, Pat. And the musicians are very sweet and say a lot about your town.

This is just so sad. You will probably hear from the humane society about the bird abuse.
