Naming A Park

The little parkette on Avenue Rd at Dupont St has been renamed the Jay Macpherson Green in honour of a long-time resident. I really like this idea and it is nice that her neighbours were able to get the city to come onboard with the renaming.

This is wonderful and so significant in light of the constant degrading of others which seems so prevalent today!

Nice that they've given an explanation. Love all the leaves in the background. :)

Good to see a local writer honored by having a park named for him. Quit a serious loving sign.

What a lovely honor. I think it is really special that the neighborhood was able to get the powers that be to agree to the plaque. How very nice.
