"Businessman On Horse"

I showed you this sculpture back in 2010 but thought I would try for new image with different lighting. You can see the other one if you click on the McElcheron label below. It is one of many from William McElcheran's Businessman series.

Very nice! He looks like he's relaxing and enjoying the day!

I think he looks exhausted. It must have been a busy day. ;)

Nice statue, but from this angle he looks a bit tired...

Just like Grace, the moment I saw the sculpture it brought a smile to my face.

He's either trying for an "imperial" look or he's falling asleep and will soon fall off the horse!

He looks to me to be taking a wee nap there before taking off again. Nice sculpture.

I love love love this sculpture and the whole businessman series. I saw a pair of standing businessmen outside a gallery in Naples a few years ago. (Must check my blog to see if I showed them.) Did I mention that I love the sculpture?

That businessman has a strange relationship with the horse. He is rather a great horseman or he has no idea where he is going as he has no bridle or saddle to control the horse. Interesting statue.
