Cock-a-doodle-do!

I spotted this rooster very high up on the top of a steeple of a church on Bayview Ave, right across the road from yesterday's gatehouse. He doesn't seem to move in the wind so he must be purely decorative rather than a weathervane. I'll try to get a pic of the church one day but it is surrounded by a lot of wiring so will have to search for a good sightline.

A rather unusual top for a steeple!

Now I am wondering why.

Is that some sort of weather vane? A chicken on top of a church steeple is not a usual thing! :)

A most decorative rooster on this steeple. Good eye in spotting it.

Oh that's fantastic Pat, he does look very happy up there, could say even crowing about it :) How good does the steeple look all green and rusty, I know there's a name for that but I can't quite get it to come into my head.. it is midnight in Perth :)

What a great title for this one and a nice steeple, too. That rooster looks so prissy sitting up there.I am guessing it is bronze.
