Under The Sea

We are just past half way along this mural on Lawrence Ave by Shalak, Smoky, & Fiya and we still haven't reached the parts that some people found to be a bit scary. Here we are under the sea with a wonderful whale swimming past to lead us further along the wall.

Hmmm...it doesn't look too scary at this point. Well, those green faces are not something I'd like to run into on a dark night! :)

Lovely, so far...

The "under the sea" part is very nicely done and it looks like those people in green might be dreaming about it.

I love it (but do you think they have a tummy bug?!)

Lots to see here... from the serene faces to a whale. Wonder what the artists were thinking? ;-)

One "whale" of a mural, I'd say. :-)

Well, this part is quite lovely -- and looks like something we might see in Florida (as a mural) or in real, minus the mermaids(??> of course~

I had no idea that there are such awesome murals in Toronto now!

Thought perhaps those green people had drown under the sea. They don't quite belong with all the other sea creatures.

Very peaceful feel to this underwater section Pat. Are you saving the scary bit for last :)

I wonder about the significance of green faces but otherwise this doesn't look scary at all.

Quite lovely and even a little sad. Not at all scary to me. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
