This is a side view of yesterday's Osgoode Hall and it gives you an idea of the various additions that have occurred over the years. I just like to see the clock tower from Old City Hall peeking over the top surrounded by the newer buildings along Queen St W.
Cities always seem to be adding more high-rise buildings. Land is too valuable not to go up, but there are obvious costs such as blocking out more traditional buildings and eliminating sunlight.

You live in such a charming, and beautiful place, rich in history too!

That is a great view of the place.
It looks like it just kept growing until it ran out of room. Love the clock tower peeking over.
patina of a great city
I like that the clock tower can still be seen Pat, would have been tragic if it had been swallowed up entirely 😊
That's a beautiful building and it incidentally reminds me of the Art Museum in St. Louis, Missouri.
Great find, Pat!
Have a Happy Day!!
Peace :)
Surrounded by a lot of taller buildings but fits in rather nicely. Glad the clock tower can still be seen, I love clock towers.
The old and the new, coexisting.
There just in case your smartphone's battery went dead. :-)
Its clear that not the old times but the new times reach to the sky.
Preciosa foto Pat . Me gusta mucho!!!
