Take Out Diner

If you look carefully on the right side of this bird feeder you will see a wee chipmunk who I watched for a long time one day. He would climb up onto the feeder fill up his cheeks and then take off to return about 5 minutes later and fill up again. Somewhere there must be at least a month's supply of food stashed away!

Hello, the cute chipmunk is a good climber, especially when the food is involved. Thank you so much for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday! Wishing you a happy weekend!

Industrious chipmunk. I wonder if this chipmunk knows where it stashed all that seed? Squirrels do not remember where they bury things. Fine wildlife photos.

I hope he remembers where he put it.

Oh, yes, they're already busy stocking their winter quarters. You never see them in the winter, so whenever they're hungry, they have plenty of food stashed away to get them through to spring.

Cute - and a good shot! I've never seen a chipmunk in the wild - you don't get them in Neasden.

They're smart little critters unless they stash their stuff in a tree that gets cut down the next day!

He's now a VIP customer who gets to serve himself. His family must be proud. :)

It would be great to find the stash and return it to the feeder, it would keep the little fella entertained for days.
All the best, Gordon.
