Classy Facade

I love the carvings on the Graphic Arts Building on Richmond St. The building was finished in 1913 and was the home to Saturday Night magazine until the early 2000s when it was converted into 65 condo units. I've seen pics of the interior and it is just as classy as the outside. It is good that it wasn't torn down to construct a modern building!

Oh wow! What a privilege to live in such a beautiful building Pat, I might even be prepared to give up my garden for that ☺

They just don't make 'em like that anymore so it's wonderful that the building still stands and I can imagine those condos are rather nice and very pricey. I'd love to see the interior of one of the condos if you get a chance. You could tell one of the owners you know me. Nah...that's not gonna work! :)

I would love to live in a classic building like that! I probably couldn't afford it though.

I love it when old beauties like this are re-purposed, rather then bulldozed. Just like this one. It's history and people get to live in it.
