Rising

Having given up on a hot walk through the ravine at Edwards Gardens this was my exit route back up to the top. I was about half way to the top when I took this and I was happy to see the switchbacks which made the walking a lot easier!

And a nice fence too.

This reminds me of a path in our Arboretum that switchbacks, and makes ascending the hill that much easier.

That is a very well defined traill and it looks so cool and inviting. Obviously, looks can be deceiving.

This is unknown territory for me. I hope the trail is well marked.

A nice looking path with the fence on one side and the stone wall on the other.

Such a beautiful setting. It's a shame it was so unbearably hot.

On a cooler day this would be a brilliant walk Pat, I love a bit of a hill, even though I'm totally puffed by the time I get there 😀
