Painted Beauties

This pic was taken just down the block from yesterday's post and here everyone has painted the bricks. They look nice but I prefer the brick as in yesterday's pic. What about you?

Hello,

I like the unpainted brick but out of these the home on the far left is a nice color to me. Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy weekend.

Don't know what it is called, but I like that style of architecture!
Have a great weekend!

Painting brick is never a good idea. The bricks can't breath and moisture becomes a problem, so I agree with you on many levels.

I think I prefer the bricks too but I must admit that tan one is quite attractive. I do love the look of these places.

...they look elegant, but why would they paint the brick!

They do look nice but I always thought it best to let brick breathe …

All the best Jan

Yes, I prefer brick as it is.

Very attractive homes. I prefer to have the bricks unpainted, it is so much better looking.

Having seen the brick it's hard to prefer the paint though the tan one is nicely done.

Nothing lake a good face lift... even if it is a paint job.

I like brick in passing, but the residents' eye demands change from time to time i suppose. . .

Yes both have their beauty, but I am for the genuine brick myself.
