Waterlily

The waterlilies starting popping open about a week ago in the ponds at the Veterans Centre at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. They grow them in pots which they bring into the green house for the winter because the ponds are too shallow to allow them to survive. It is always a lovely sight to see them.

Gorgeous photo! I love water lilies. I'll be going to California for a few days next weekend and the place I stay has a pond with water lilies. I'm always drawn to it...with my camera of course.

A beautiful image. I haven't seen a waterlily in person for decades. I always liked them especially one day when it had a frog on it. I seen it is a pond that was in a cemetery. Memories, you never know what will set them off. :)

Lovely. It's not hard to see why Monet painted so many of them.
