October Theme: Orange.

The October theme for the City Daily Photo Blog community is "Orange" and this orange lion found in the window of a print shop is my submission. The scenery consists of prints done in the shop and the lion itself is made from folded paper. There was a whole variety of animals in different colours in the window which is what caught my eye. I had been called for jury duty on University Ave but the accused had pleaded guilty the day before so we were all excused giving me the chance for a bit of a wander and then I spotted this great creature!
Taking part in the theme "Orange". Click HERE to see more examples of Orange from around the world.

It's well done.

I've never been called for jury duty. I'd probably do my best to get out of it by saying I hate lawyers, and I think jaywalkers should be hung from a yard arm. :)

What a great find! I can't believe that's made of paper. It certainly looks like it was sculpted.

Thank you for doing jury duty. It is a civic responsibility many people avoid. Fine looking cubist lion in orange.

Uhm...could you consider your walk a "guilty" pleasure?
I love this lion, even moreso knowing it's folded paper.

Great orange big cat. See, having to do something you might not have wanted to do turned into an adventure day

I like it! From the thumbnail I thought it might be a concrete sculpture at a Chinese restaurant.
