Getting A Mouthful

I caught this Cardinal just as he grabbed a mouthful of what is left of a cob of corn. The core of the cob must be tasty as he continued to pick away at it for a while.

Cardinals are one of my favorite birds. They must have tough winters getting enough food to stay warm.
