April Theme: School

The April theme for the City Daily Photo Blog community is "School" and for this one I am showing Central Technical School which has been at Bathurst & Harbord St since 1915. This is the original Collegiate Gothic building which has had additions over the years and there has also been two separate buildings added, one for art instruction with beautiful north light  and the other which has gyms and an Olympic sized pool. The school is famous for its extensive array of night school classes for adults.

That's a fine-looking gatehouse. My old school blazer badge had a picture of a tower just like that - the actual school however looked nothing like it!

Great choice, why didn't I think about that?

That's beautiful and grand. I ran a night school for adults and miss having an opportunity for night school classes. It's such an important community service.

It's an impressive piece of architecture Pat, quite castle like! Would have been lovely to study here ✨

It is a handsome building,. It would be kind of comfortable at Yale, though Yale's gray stones are generally lighter.
