Annex Semis

This is another pair of semi-detached houses found in the Annex neighbourhood where each side is so unlike its attached neighbour. I like the turret on the right side but would probably go for the large balcony on the left half. Each of these halves would have originally been built as a single family home but through the years many have been divided up into flats although the trend now is to turn them back into single homes. They are really large homes!

They would be very large for a single family home but that's not so unusual for the era.

Can you just imagine trying to heat these homes in their original state?!

Love the balcony on the left, I would sit out there in the nice weather and watch people go by.

Take the car and the power lines out of this photo and you're in a completely different era.

Indeed beautiful but very laborious for maintenance.

Lovely old home! I bet it would cost a pretty penny!
