More Brick Neighbours

Continuing the brick houses that I showed you a week ago, a short walk up Yonge St brings us to Macpherson Ave which is lined with these lovely Victorian homes all of which have been renovated and restored. These are the same era as the workers homes I had shown but a little more upscale.

Stately brick homes for those families prospering in the late 19th and early 20th Century. My guess is that these houses are still quite valuable.

I´d like to see the interior, can´t you just ring the bell, go in and take pics? ;-)

Lovely brick houses. The only difference with the houses here in the netherlands is that you don't use baked roof tiles but something else as roofing while clay is available. Must be tradition in building I guess.
