A Tomato Harvest
This has been the best year ever for my crop of tomatoes even with a few raids by squirrels. The large tomatoes are Carolina Gold and the cherry ones are Rapunzel. I can't remember what the grape ones are but they are delicious! Every dinner there are sliced tomatoes with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, basil and feta cheese - priceless.
...it's a great time of year!
Home grown ones taste so much better than the supermarket varieties.
They all look delicious! I have not seen a red tomato on our plant yet. I think something is eating them. Take care, enjoy your day!
Pat you have a green thumb... or should I say red thumb... ;-)
Oh Pat, that sounds simply delicious. I love tomatoes and these look perfect. I've been finding the yellow ones have really good flavor.
I love this time of year with fresh garden tomatoes available. I try to eat them at every meal.
Burpee sells a variety they call Sun Gold and they are as delicious as they look.
I love fresh tomatoes. Whenever I leave them on a table and walk by, I have to grab some. They wouldn't last long in my house. :)
I totally agree with you!
Oh my! You have put our tomatoes to shame. Beautiful photo and your description of your menu makes my mouth water.
Wow! You've got plenty to be proud of. Your patio seems to be a great place for tomato crops.
Squirrels eat tomatoes? I like it with mozzarella and basil :-) And I have all three here :-)
