The Swing

I spotted this wonderful old-fashioned swing in the front garden of a house up near Casa Loma and thought that it was a nice reminder of simpler times.

This is wonderful. You don't see home-made swings like this very often. Brings back lots of memories.

It certainly is a reminder of simpler times Pat, children will always love swings.. at least I hope they do 😊

I like the bricks placed there so that little legs can reach the seat. Some toys are never out of date.

A simple swing still swings. :)

My grandgirls love swings. Luckily I live beside a children's playground.

I'd probably replace the pavement blocks with something just a little softer to land on in case, you know, someone accidentally fell off. :-)

This old fashioned swing suggest an earlier, simpler time.

So true! My Nieces have a swing made from an old tyre - but far away from simple, it is a horse.
Times are a changing, I reckon... (don´t wanna know how much they payed for that).
