Follow That Bird!

I was walking along a path in the valley along the Humber River when I happened upon this Robin who was also walking the path. Rather than fly away the Robin continued to scurry ahead and would then turn to see if I was still there. This continued for a minute or so.

Hello,

Great sighting, I usually see them scampering ahead on the trails too.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.

Not as confiding as our English robins then who will often come right up to you when you're gardening, They're not being friendly though, just hoping you'll unearth a worm!

How fun to have this fellow as a walking companion. He looks like a nice plump robin.

Great photo! I've been hearing a lot of robins lately but haven't seen many!

Isn't it funny how they do that?! I usually explain that I am going that way, but they don't listen!

We see robins with that same behaviour here.

Makes me wonder if this wasn't a still very young robin.

That's cute. Robins are not as shy as some birds.

Very cute. I once had a magpie following me when I searched something. We also looked at each other!!! Boy, she was so disappointed when she found out it was a tin that rolled under the car.
