Laneway In Snow

This is the view down one of our laneways in a residential area. The city doesn't really plow these lanes so if we get a lot of snow it becomes a community effort to clear a pathway for the cars. Everything looks so monotone at this time of year.

I have not noticed if laneways here get cleared by the city.

Doing snow work is tough.

Almost a look back in time. It has that feeling anyway.

I like seeing the tracks in the snow. They make great patterns.

It does look monotone. It also reminds me of my childhood.

Yes. It's winter. We awaiting next snow here. The cold time isn't fine.

Don't fall Pat... it hurts.

Looks slippery, you'll need some spikes to walk and be safe.

Such a country looking laneway. It is not as narrow as I would suspect from a major city

And cold!

It may be monotone but still a beautiful street view.

Brr, it's still really warm here for the time of year, barely a frost so far. This is almost a monochrome apart from the warmth of the stone and wood building. Nice shot.

Monotone, yes. Main streets get cleared, ours neither...
