The Artist

This fellow had set up his canvas at Casa Loma and was working on a rather large painting of the building. It was a busy day there so he was getting a lot of attention.

It is always fascinating to watch an artist at work. I would love to see the painting when it is finished. Thank you for your comment on my Hooded Merganser photos. These ducks winter from the Great Lakes to the Gulf of Mexico and their breeding range in southern Canada.

It looks challenging but I feel that he will be able to complete the work.

I don’t know how they can do a big outdoor painting with the light always changing.

That's something interesting to see. I don't think I've ever seen a plein air artist with a canvas that big.

No way to hide your work until it is "ready" this way.
