This fairly large Iguana was spotted one morning in Mexico as it warmed itself up in the sunshine. It had been a coolish night so the sun must have felt good on its back.

Hello, beastie...
Sun on the back would feel good this morning. We had quite an overnight dumping. You?
The first large Iguana I saw in Mexico seemed too good to be real, but of course it was very real. They are wonderful looking critters.
Great shot of the iguana! They are big critters.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your critter and post. Take care, have a great day and happy weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
He's a beauty! I saw one here in the Phoenix area many, many years ago but I haven't seen any lately.
What a wonderful looking creature.
Muy a gusto estaba.
Buen fin de semana.
Un abrazo.
Hello :)
Great capture! I have only seen an Iguana in documentaries or books, it's a huge creature and an impressive lizard. Lizards here also like to sun themselves when they come out of hibernation. I have yet to see one this year, but will when the sun shines.
All the best
Sonjia.
What a beauty to come across.
I love these guys they are so weird.
Nice looking pet.
Wow! what a lizard! It must be amazing to see one like that alive in the wild!
