A Youngster

I was sitting in a park and noticed this Robin all puffed up and at first thought that it was injured but after a few minutes some kids came near the bird and it flew down into the grass and started to look for food. Finally it found some and fixed all its feathers into place and flew up into  a tree away from the kids. I think it was a young bird just catching its breath when I first saw it.

This is the season when we find young, inexperienced Robins. You got a good photo of this one.

What a cutie! The Robins songs are melodious. It might be fluffed up to relax. Thank you for sharing the photograph.

What a sweet photo! Pat, in the rush of caring for my husband medical condition, I have missed way too many of your posts! I just want you to know why I haven't been around. He's going into care today at least temporarily and it is the hardest day of my life. But I will carry on with the blog because it's so important in my heart that I do so. I love you. Thanks for your understanding and your wonderful visits aloha
