I spotted this mural in a local laneway and there were tarps down in front of it so I think there was still more details to be added but there was no one to ask. It still gets its message across very well. Honest Ed's was a famous discount store which anchored a whole neighbourhood which is now in the process of being redeveloped. We shall see how it turns out soon, hopefully.

Yes, Honest Ed's -- what a legend!
I have fond memories!
Buy local Canadian, not US products.
I know that I passed HE a few times way back in time when I visited downtown (seldom), and I think I stuck my head n there once and very briefly.
...I wish that I had been able to visit Honest Ed!
It's such a cute mural and an important message. Support those local businesses.
Always good to buy locally produced items.
That is lovely!
